Subject: Notice of Territorial Congress
The President of the Provincial Committee Arcigay “Marcella Di Folco” Salerno,
– having seen the Statute of the Provincial Committee;
– having seen the Congressional Regulations of the Arcigay Provincial Committee “
Marcella Di Folco” Salerno;
– having seen the convocation of the XVIII National Congress of Arcigay, to be held in Rome on 13, 14 and 15 November 2026;
– considering the need to proceed with the election of 3 effective delegates and the same number of substitute delegates of the Provincial Committee at the National Congress;
– also considering the need to identify and propose the name of the candidate for the position of National Territorial Councillor representing the Provincial Committee of Arcigay “Marcella Di Folco” Sal
erno, for the purposes of the subsequent election by the XVIII National Congress of Arcigay;
CALLS
the Territorial Congress of the Provincial Committee of Arcigay “Marcella Di Folco” Salerno for Sunday 4 October 2026, at 7:00 am for the first call and at 6:00 pm for the second call, at the Committee's operational headquarters in Via Romualdo II Guarna, 2 – Salerno.
AGENDA
1. Opening of the conference and accreditation;
2. election of the Presidency of the Congress and appointment of the Secretary/s responsible for recording the minutes;
3. vote on the two motions at the XVIII National Congress of Arcigay;
4. voting of the 3 effective delegates and substitute delegates at the XVIII National Congress of Arcigay;
5. voting for the candidate for the position of National Territorial Councilor representing the Arcigay Salerno Provincial Committee;
6. miscellaneous and conclusions.
PARTICIPATION AND RIGHT TO VOTE
Members who meet the requirements set forth in the Provincial Congress Regulations and have paid their membership fee by the date of the Congress are entitled to participate and vote at the Congress. Participants must register before voting. Membership renewal is permitted during the accreditation process, in accordance with the Congress Regulations. The election of delegates to the National Congress will take place according to the procedures set forth in Article 13 of the Provincial Congress Regulations. Each member may express up to two preferences.
APPLICATIONS FOR NATIONAL DELEGATE
Applications for the position of delegate to the XVIII National Congress must be submitted no later than 8:00 PM on Thursday 1 October 2026, according to the procedures set out in the Congress Regulations, by sending them to the email address: [email protected] .
Given the importance of this event for the democratic and associative life of Arcigay, all members at all levels are invited to participate in the congressional proceedings and actively contribute to the discussion and development of the path that will lead Salerno to the 18th National Congress. This invitation will be publicized on Arcigay Salerno's social media channels and posted at the Provincial Committee headquarters, respecting the minimum notice period established by the Congress Regulations.
