For the first time, the highest institutions will publicly discuss the concerns of the LGBTQIA+ community. Yesterday, the debate focused on health and rights, and tomorrow, they will meet with the Beirut and Odessa Pride parades, leading up to Saturday's large-scale march.
A historic day for civil rights in Campania. Today, June 25, at Pride Park, the President of the Campania Region, Roberto Fico, and the Mayor of Naples, Gaetano Manfredi, will dialogue directly with the associations of the Naples Pride Committee. This is an unprecedented event: it is the first time the two highest institutional officials have come together for a joint public debate dedicated exclusively to addressing the urgent issues and needs of the LGBTQIA+ population. Today's discussion follows yesterday's intense day, focused on the right to health and well-being, which saw the participation of regional and municipal councilors and prominent local and national representatives of the Five Star Movement, AVS, and the Democratic Party.
The Week of Rights will then continue towards the final great mobilization. Tomorrow, June 26th, Pride Park will close its doors with an event of profound human and political value, hosting an important debate with the activists of the courageous Beirut and Odessa Pride. All the anticipation is on Saturday, June 27th, when the city will be awash in rainbow colors for the Naples Pride parade. The parade is scheduled to depart from Porta Capuana at 4:00 PM, arriving in Piazza Dante, where the event will conclude with the traditional political and community speeches and the grand finale Star Show.
