The Health Desk was founded with the aim of promoting people's well-being and strengthening a culture of prevention, offering a safe, welcoming, and accessible space for information, guidance, and support. Through listening, counseling, and support, the Help Desk supports people in protecting their health, with a focus on prevention, early diagnosis, and informed access to healthcare and community services.
Prevention is a fundamental tool for protecting individual and community health. Staying informed, undergoing regular checkups, promptly recognizing risk situations, and knowing who to contact are essential steps in taking care of yourself and others. For this reason, the Health Desk offers information sessions, personalized counseling, and health promotion initiatives, with an inclusive approach that respects diverse life experiences.
The implementation of these activities is also made possible thanks to the valuable support of the’Eight per Thousand of the Waldensian Church, which contributes concretely to the development of social projects and the promotion of rights. This support allows us to offer free and accessible services, strengthening the Help Desk's ability to reach those most in need of information and protection.
