A historic thirtieth anniversary edition of art, health, politics, and human rights, leading up to the grand parade on June 27th, featuring activists from the courageous Pride marches of Odessa and Beirut.
From Thursday, June 18th to Sunday, June 28th, 2026, Naples Pride Park, the "village of rights," will kick off. The event, now in its fourth year, will be held in the evocative setting of the Real Albergo dei Poveri in Piazza Carlo III.
This is an important date for Naples Pride, marking the 30th anniversary of the first historic Naples Pride, held in 1996. To honor this anniversary, culture takes center stage with the "ART PRIDE PARK!" initiative, which will feature photography and visual arts exhibitions throughout the event. Among the exhibitions is the photography exhibition "“30 years of Naples Pride“, an exhibition curated by Paolo Valerio entitled “The Courage of Queer Memory“, and the inclusive animalist installation “Canine mercy”" by Flavio Pagano. The exhibition of historical toys at the Toy Museum in Naples was highly impressive, with the show "“We're all in this together”, conceived and studied by the students of the Borsellino-Moricino Comprehensive Institute of Naples, was edited by university professor Vincenzo Capuano, and is aimed at the world of young people, adults and educators, without the pretense of imposing an idea but rather suggesting food for thought.
The village will offer a rich program of social gatherings, aperitifs, music, and a space dedicated to the fight for civil, social, and human rights. There will be information stands for Anti-Discrimination Centers, Rainbow Houses, LGBTQIA+ Associations, Third Sector Organizations, and Trade Unions.
Among the many scheduled events, the following in-depth sessions are worth highlighting:
- June 19thA day of art and reflection hosted by AGEDO Napoli, the association of families and friends of LGBTQIA+ people.
- June 20thA day to remember Ciro Ciretta Cascina, the soul of the Italian sexual liberation movement who recently passed away. There will be a screening of the documentary "Femmenell" by Andrea Fortis, followed by music and tambourines.
- June 21st and 22nd: The days will host events related to International Refugee Day. Many migrant associations and communities operating in the city will be present, including representatives of the Iranian movement "Woman, Life, Freedom." This will be followed by the presentation of the book "My Battle of Love" by and with Imma Battaglia, and the "Femmenella Show" organized by the Trans Napoli Association. The association itself will also offer a talk on transcidents, amidst hateful rhetoric and a crisis of rights.,
- June 23: The meeting "1996-2026: From ART to PrEP" will be held with Cotugno Hospital to discuss 30 years of progress against HIV and STIs, accompanied by the "ROMPITABU SPACE" space for sexual and emotional education. Marianna Vittorioso's FREE condom points and the "SEXY NAPOLI" T-shirt by nss will be presented.
- June 25: An important day of queer politics and movement, including an event on "Thirty Years of LGBTQIA+ Policies in the City of Naples" and a discussion with La Tarantina, a historic hub for "femminielli" in Naples and the patroness of this year's Naples Pride. The documentary film "La Tarantina" by Fortunato Calvino will be screened.
- June 26: A debate will be held on the 30th anniversary of Naples Pride and the value of Pride today, featuring Southern Italian Pride events and a look ahead to EuroPride Turin 2027. The event will feature the special presence of Pride activists from Odessa and Beirut. The event will be livestreamed from the Stonewall Inn in New York.
Health will also be a key focus: Pride Park will host the "Pride and Prevention" Checkpoint. On June 20, 21, 23, 25, and 26, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, you can take free, anonymous, rapid HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis tests, and receive information about PREP and PEP vaccinations.
At the end of the day, starting at 9:30 pm, the event will continue continuously with DJ sets, themed evenings and live music.

THE GREAT PROCESSION AND THE STAR SHOW
To crown this intense week, we remind you that the great Naples Pride procession is scheduled for Saturday, June 27. The parade will depart from Porta Capuana and wind through the city streets to Piazza Dante. The usual political and institutional speeches will take place there, followed at 9:30 PM by the eagerly awaited "Star Show," under the artistic direction of Diego Di Flora, to celebrate these extraordinary thirty years of Neapolitan pride together.
