August 8, 2026 – Continues the''Pride Wave', the large-scale national mobilization in support of the rights of LGBTQIA+ people organized by Arcigay and other local and national associations, with two events today crossing the South on a day that combines the resistance of small towns with the historic innovation of a regional capital.
TO Cammarata And Saint John Gemini, in the Agrigento area, the Village PrideThe meeting point is at 6pm in Piazzale Camilleri, from where the parade will pass through the centres of the two municipalities which together have less than 15,000 inhabitants. Catanzaro, instead, a page of history is being written for the whole of Calabria: for the first time, the regional capital is hosting its own Pride, the only one in Calabria in 2026. The gathering is scheduled for 5:30 pm in Piazza Anita Garibaldi, in the Lido district, where the procession will start and travel along the seafront.
