Al quinto appuntamento di costruzione condivisa del Taranto Pride 2019 il Gruppo Giovani e il Gruppo Over hanno incontrato Irma Saracino e Francis Allenby
Martedì 2 ottobre il Centro Interculturale Nelson Mandela (in Via Anfiteatro #219 a Taranto) ha ospitato il 150esimo appuntamento del ciclo “Taranto – Il Nuovo Volto”, evento di disseminazione dei Training Course Summer School (Taranto, Italia, agosto 2018), SEP & SPP – Social Entrepreneurship Project for Sustainable Growth in EU and SEE Countries (Manchester, UK, agosto 2018), DigiTale (Brivezac, Francia, settembre 2018), ATOQ (Budapest, Ungheria, settembre 2018), Theatre of the Giraffe (Brzozówka, Polonia, settembre 2018), in crossover con il quinto incontro di costruzione condivisa del Taranto Pride 2019.
Nella seconda parte dell’appuntamento socio-culturale, volontari/volontarie/volontar* hanno discusso su tematiche e tempistiche del Taranto Pride 2019 e del Pride Festival (previsto dal 17 al 19 maggio p.v.).
Alle studentesse liceali Vittoria e Michela, allo studente Luca Marci (socio Arcigay Strambopoli Taranto molto attivo presso il Liceo Artistico Calò) e al responsabile genderfluid del Gruppo Giovani Anies Maggio, hanno dato manforte la docente e scrittrice Irma Saracino – fortemente legata all’idea di uno human pride senza etichette: «Io non sono di fronte a te, – ha dichiarato – io sono insieme con te!» – e il blogger e pittore queer Francis Allenby (vice presidente protempore Arcigay Strambopoli dal marzo al settembre 2017), che entrano a pieno titolo nella squadra capitanata dal direttore artistico Audrey (in questi giorni impegnato in un progetto Erasmus+ in Repubblica Ceca).
In particolare, Irma Saracino curerà una serie di lectio magistralis storico-letterarie e performance di teatro/danza su miti e leggende di Taranto.
Francis Allenby ha scritto il dialogo teatrale “Intervista a Mario Mieli”, che verrà proposto tra gli eventi in rassegna; ad interpretare (molto probabilmente negli spazi del Cinema Teatro Orfeo) l’attivista, autore di “Elementi di critica omosessuale” sarà Luigi Pignatelli: «Ci hanno aggredito? Non batteremo più soltanto, ma combatteremo! El pueblo unido è meglio travestido.»

Il sesto incontro di costruzione e preparazione al Taranto Pride 2019 è previsto per le ore 19.00 di martedì 9 ottobre presso il Centro Interculturale Nelson Mandela, in via Anfiteatro #219 a Taranto, che dal 2014 ospita lo Sportello Migranti Arcobaleno.
In quella stessa giornata Luigi Pignatelli faciliterà, nell’ambito del ciclo “Mimesi”, il primo incontro del workshop di story telling digitale “Once Upon a Me”.

At the fifth meeting of the shared construction of the Taranto Pride 2019, the Youth Group and the Over Group met Irma Saracino and Francis Allenby
Tuesday, October 2, the Intercultural Center Nelson Mandela (in Via Anfiteatro #219, Taranto) hosted the 150th appointment of the cycle “Taranto – The New Face”, event of dissemination of the Training Course Summer School (Taranto, Italy, August 2018), SEP & SPP – Social Entrepreneurship Project for Sustainable Growth in the EU and SEE Countries (Manchester, UK, August 2018), DigiTale (Brivezac, France, September 2018), ATOQ (Budapest, Hungary, September 2018), Theater of the Giraffe (Brzozówka, Poland, September 2018), in crossover with the fifth meeting of shared construction of the Taranto Pride 2019.
In the second part of the socio-cultural event, the volunteers discussed the issues and times of the Taranto Pride 2019 and of the Pride Festival (scheduled from May 17th to 19th).
The high school students Vittoria and Michela, the student Luca Marci (very active member Arcigay QueerTown Taranto at the Artistic High School Calò) and the genderfluid manager of the Youth Group Anies Maggio, have been supported by the teacher and writer Irma Saracino – strongly linked to the idea of a human pride without labels: «I am not in front of you, – she declared – I am with you!» – and the queer blogger and painter Francis Allenby (vice-president Arcigay QueerTown from March to September 2017), who enter fully in the team captained by the artistic director Audrey (in these days engaged in an Erasmus+ project in the Czech Republic).
In particular, Irma Saracino will curate a series of historical-literary lectio magistralis and dance theatre performances on myths and legends of Taranto.
Francis Allenby wrote the theatrical dialogue “Interview with Mario Mieli”, which will be proposed among the events under review; Luigi Pignatelli will interpret (most likely in the spaces of Cinema Theater Orfeo) the activist, author of “Elements of homosexual criticism”: «They attacked us? We will not beat the streets only anymore, but we will fight in the streets! El Pueblo unido is better transvestite.»

The sixth meeting of construction and preparation for the Taranto Pride 2019 is scheduled for 7 pm on Tuesday 9 October at the Nelson Mandela Intercultural Center, in via Anfiteatro # 219 in Taranto, which since 2014 has hosted the Rainbow Migrants Desk.
On that same day, Luigi Pignatelli will facilitate, during the “Mimesi” cycle, the first meeting of the digital storytelling workshop “Once Upon a Me”.
