A conference and a "rainbow night" to discuss the rights of gays, lesbians, and transgender people: this is the initiative offered by the Municipality of Peschici and the Arcigay "Le Bigotte" committee of Foggia for July 29th. It begins with the debate "Love is Love: Rights and Protections for LGBT People," which has received recognition and sponsorship from UNAR (National Anti-Discrimination Office), and will be held in Piazza Pertini (Villa Comunale) starting at 9:00 PM. Politicians and entertainment personalities will speak during the event, aiming to raise public awareness of civil rights for all. Following the conference, the town's streets will host the "Rainbow Night" with musical performances and special openings of businesses until late at night. The event aims to be an opportunity to overcome the hesitations and taboos that unfortunately still characterize our country today, and to contribute by informing and sharing a message demanding legal equality for every citizen, respecting and valuing the differences that each and every one of us brings with us.
