On Saturday 1st September the drag queen Kyoko Bijoux will liven up the workshop for children and young people “The Princess Tells,” to tell the story of gender identity through the popular wisdom of fairy tales.

Also on October 1st, one of the most anticipated guests of this festival will arrive: the Italian tour of Pierluca Mariti (@Rather_than on Instagram). The rising star of social comedy will tell us something about himself with a series of readings entitled "“I did the classic”: an anthological, ironic and irreverent reading of the great classics that are always present in Italian school curricula and in which many will be able to identify.

Sunday 2nd will be the turn of the theater, with the workshop of the Aosta company Palinodies, which will explore queer theatrical dramaturgy.

On Monday 3rd we will present the book "Like Air in an Embrace"“ By Pier Luigi Gallucci. The author, a psychologist and psychotherapist, in collaboration with the Turin-based association Agedo, has compiled a thoughtful guide to help parents and families navigate coming out, find clear information, and find concrete answers to frequently asked questions about emotional and sexual orientation and gender identity.

Tuesday 4th the artist Leonardo Sinopoli will make the audience think with his powerful performance"“Say their names”: a powerful and poignant performance honoring the lives of murdered transgender people.

Thursday 6th’UniVda, which also sponsored the entire Aosta Pride event, will host the meeting with Professor Chiara Bertone, Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Eastern Piedmont, to talk about the history of queer community rights, with an introduction by UniVda Rector Maria Grazia Monaci and Equality Advisor Katya Foletto as moderator. The meeting will be an opportunity to remember two important figures in Aosta Valley queer history: Romeo Henriet and André Zanotto, in the presence of his granddaughter Elisa.

The last two events preceding the big parade on October 8th will take place on Friday the 7th.

The first is the presentation of the book “The First Time They Called Me a F***” with the author Aldo Mastellone (famous on Instagram as @solodallamente): a collection of experiences from various people to address the weighty issue of bullying and discrimination in a straightforward manner.

The star of Aosta Pride 2022 will arrive in the evening: Vladimir Luxuria will present his monologue at the Cittadella dei Giovani "“I'll sing them to you tonight”, a stand-up comedy show featuring high heels that dismantles clichés about transsexuality and gender ideology. The show is accompanied by live music ranging from Manu Chao to De André.
