Antinoo Arcigay Naples meets Ultima Generazione.

An online call is scheduled for this evening (November 12), a weekend of mobilization, and an aperitif on November 22 to plan the first civil disobedience action in the city.

The Naples group of Latest Generation is launching a call for participation to strengthen its presence in the area and "restart with even more energy." With the aim of consolidating the local group and planning new mobilizations, the organization has scheduled a series of events for the coming weeks, open to anyone interested in learning about the movement and becoming an active participant.

Tonight's online meeting to get to know each other

The first step is a online call presentation, scheduled for this evening, Wednesday, November 12, at 8:30 PM. The meeting, accessible via the Google Meet link (meet.google.com/sdk-kgkn-udg), will be an opportunity for current members to introduce themselves and introduce newcomers to the movement's themes.

During the call we will talk in particular about the ongoing national campaign, the “Boycott supermarkets”, and we will discuss how to best structure the activities of the Neapolitan group.

Weekend mobilization and aperitif program at Arcigay Napoli

Activities won't stop at virtual meetings. Immediately following the online meeting, the group will plan a weekend of mobilization. Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th November, the activists will move "in the city center, in supermarkets, in universities and wherever there are more people" for an intense leafleting and promotional activity.

The aim of this two-day event is to publicise the next big live event: a design aperitif which will be held Saturday, November 22nd at 5:00 PM. The meeting will take place at the headquarters of Antinous Arcigay Naples, in Vico San Geronimo 17.

During the aperitif, participants will discuss and plan together what will be the first action of the relaunched Ultima Generazione Napoli group. As the organizers specify, there are several options: "“It could be something as simple as putting price stickers on supermarkets, or a more forceful act of civil disobedience — the heart of our movement.“.
