The aim of the Gruppo Pesce Roma Calendar is to have fun and increase visibility in the gay world, but also to showcase another homosexual lifestyle for all to see.
Like all our initiatives, this one is designed to promote overcoming prejudice and integration through sport.
Founding a gay group like ours doesn't mean encouraging ghettoization, but rather offering a further choice: a gay person is completely free to go swimming wherever they want, just as a heterosexual person can easily join the Gruppo Pesce Roma.
