Arcigay has asked to join Free, in conjunction with the initiatives that the network of anti-mafia associations has planned for the 13th Day of Remembrance and Commitment in Memory of the Victims of the Mafia.
The event will take place in Bari The March 15, 2008 and will see the direct participation of the members of Arcigay Bari.
The association publicly opposes the culture of illegality, particularly that of the Mafia, which is steeped in sexism and homophobia.
Arcigay cannot help but stand alongside the associations and civil society that fight against
bullying and violence. Bullying and violence of which homosexual people are often victims, especially in the south, where, not surprisingly, LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) entrepreneurship is failing to develop as in other parts of the country.
