Stefano Bolognini will meet with readers of "Una famiglia normale" (Sonda), which explains "how we defused the gay bomb" in a traditional family with gay members.
The book, in some ways, is the first ever published investigation that investigates in depth (and at all parental levels) what happens when a family member makes their homosexuality visible by coming out.
Bolognini's result is a sincere portrait of a family that has achieved serenity, and it tells a story that is fortunately common to many Italian families.
