Milazzo. The associations' council elected the executive board. Paolo Miroddi (Avis) will serve as president, Matteo Mastroeni (Apim) will serve as vice president, and Stefano Lo Presti (Pol. Aurora Milazzo) will serve as secretary. The thirty associations that have joined are: AIRC, ADASC, Alba Nuova, Alzheimer Milazzo onlus, APIM – Ass. Partite Iva, Arcigay Makwan, ASD Minibasket, Ass. Bone Marrow Donors, “Città di Milazzo” Folkloric Association, Italian Association for Down Syndrome People, Nino Salmeri Maritime Association, Association for the Preservation of the Popular and Cultural Traditions of the Milazzo Plain, AVIS Municipal Association of Milazzo, Berimbau Sicilia, Milazzo Solidarity Center, European Studies Center, ACLI “G. Falcone” Mamertine Circle, Il Giglio, Il Promontorio, Il Risveglio, L´Isola che non c´è, La Fenice Onlus, La Fucina delle Idee, Panarea Eventi, Polisportiva Aurora Milazzo, Siciliantica, Mylae Hearing-impaired Association, Studio New Wave, Terset Onlus, and G. Cambria Sports Union. The committees, with the newly elected coordinator in parentheses, were also appointed: 1) Social Promotion and Citizens' Rights (Riccardo Tringali), 2) Culture and Traditions (Alessandro Ficarra), 3) Territorial Promotion for Sustainable Development (Matteo Mastroeni), 4) Social Affairs (Paolo Miroddi), and 5) Sports (Stefano Lo Presti).
Councilor Massimo D'Amore expressed his satisfaction and urged the newly elected council to commit to involving other associations, given the growing interest. The first commitment will be to draft new regulations and strengthen solidarity associations.
Messina. The board of directors of the consultation committee has been appointed from 30 associations.
