A protest initiative this morning at 11 a.m. in Piazza San Giovanni in Ragusa, led by the local Arcigay. After the "Concia" bill was defeated before even reaching the Italian Parliament, given the mockery of the motion against homophobia by representatives of various political parties on both sides of the aisle, Arcigay Ragusa is taking to the streets to protest "against the cultural and political inability to seriously address our demands." A torchlight vigil against homophobia was held in recent days.
