The new president of Arcigay Rome has been elected. Roberto Stocco, 33, was the former treasurer of the Rome committee from 2007 to 2010 and a national councilor for the organization. "I'm very excited," Stocco said. "Over the years, Arcigay Rome has been a political and cultural hub, and it will continue to be so." The association's congress held at the Vittoria Theater in Testaccio voted for him, also appointing the new leaders: Mattia Cinquegrani, 24, as vice president, and Carlo Chiattelli, 32, as treasurer. "On behalf of myself and the Gay Center, I wish the new leadership all the best," said outgoing president Fabrizio Marrazzo.
