The progressive mayor doesn't want gay unions

The Left, a bastion of all anomalous unions (including sexual ones), but not this time: in Grosseto, Democratic Party mayor Emilio Bonifazi, along with three other councilors from the same party, voted against the Sel motion in favor of establishing a civil union registry. Only two Democratic Party councilors voted in favor, but it wasn't enough. Arcigay national president Paolo Patanè commented: "From Grosseto, the party offers us further evidence of the extreme confusion that reigns within its ranks in defining a strategy for the rights of gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgender people." So what will happen? Will Arcigay move to Sel and abandon the Democratic Party? And where will it get the votes to change the world, given the small number of Sel representatives?
