Italy Love it or leave it is the new documentary film by Gustav Hofer and Luca Ragazzi, a couple in art and in life.
After the success of their previous work Suddenly last winter, yesterday at the 16th edition of the Milan Film Festival, the only Italian film in competition, at its world premiere, wins the Audience Award and Best Film Award Awarded by the international jury, who deemed the feature film simple in its means but with an original perspective to describe the places and values of a country in ruins. A meeting-clash of cultures explored within a couple who both observe and reflect on the outside world. An original journey through Italy, far from clichés: "Once again, Gustav and Luca, with their unmistakable ironic gaze, tell us about a country that refuses to change, while offering us, however, some good reasons.".
Arcigay proudly welcomes the news and is committed to promoting the Italian tour of the feature film., Because the inner meaning of our work lies in culture and its dissemination. Disrupting consciences locked in prejudice, opening reflections, and casting a glance at contemporary realities is the core of a revolutionary political action.
Italy, love it or leave it it will be released this fall distributed by Zalab.org, meanwhile the film in its 52-minute version and with the title Cercasi Italia disperatamente will be broadcast on Wednesday 21 September at 11.50pm on RAI3, associate producer of the film.
