SOCIAL DIGNITY AND EQUALITY
A culture of respect and the fight against prejudice: models and best practices in educational contexts
Circolo Arcobaleno has always been committed to preventing and combating homophobia and offering assistance to victims. One of the most effective ways to address these phenomena is to address those contexts where victims often feel isolated, especially if they are young and lack a supportive social network.
The seminar, part of the "Getting to Know Each Other at School" project, awarded a bronze medal by the President of the Republic Giorgio Napolitano as a representative prize, is intended to be a two-session training program for teachers. It aims to help build an inclusive and non-discriminatory social environment, as schools should be, and to foster a culture of openness, respect, and mutual recognition among young people, especially those aged ten to sixteen.
With the contribution of the Health Services Company No. 1 – Triestina.
