Clapham Junction is a hub where several London subways intersect. Through several stories unfolding over a 36-hour period, the director sets out to paint a picture of contemporary homosexuality in London. The stories include a gay wedding, a young man devoted to his grandmother, a teenager longing for a grown man, and a couple organizing a trendy dinner party aided by a waitress whose son must go home alone. The stories intersect in a variety of surprising ways, culminating in violence at the site of a hate crime against a young gay man in 2005.
