Mantua. "Little Egg" against stereotypes

Francesca Pardi, the author of "Piccolo Uovo," spoke yesterday morning at the IBS bookstore about the birth of the book, which has become a worldwide success. The book, illustrated by cartoonist Tullio Altan (who wasn't present yesterday), is known for creating the dog Pimpa. The event was part of the literary festival organized by IBS in collaboration with Arcigay, "La Salamandra," and served to encourage people to overcome the barriers of stereotypes, reflecting on how diversity enriches society. The book, aimed specifically at children, tells the story of Piccolo Uovo, who sets out on a journey that will lead him to discover different types of families: traditional, adoptive, single-parent, dual-parent, and dual-parent, expressing the concept that in the end, what truly matters is mutual love.
