Antinoo Arcigay Naples expresses deep concern about the situation the president is experiencing Antonello Sannino, currently blocked in Israel. Sannino is in a situation of grave uncertainty and difficulty, and it is essential that all Italian and international institutions mobilize to guarantee his safety and immediate return to Italy.
In the last few hours, also following our statement, there have been several reactions and protests on social media regarding Antinoo Arcigay Napoli's position on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
We want to make our position unequivocally clear: The association condemns all forms of war, military occupation, terrorism and violence, anywhere in the world.. No cause can justify the massacre of civilians or the violation of fundamental human rights.
We express our solidarity and closeness to all victims, without distinction.
• To the victims of the Gaza massacre, a civilian population affected by a very serious humanitarian crisis
• To the Israeli population and the Iranian population who, in these days, are suffering bombings and suffering
In this complex and delicate moment, We believe that the Italian LGBTQIA+ movement must rediscover itself as a united community, capable of transcending political, ideological, or cultural differences and divergences. Our values—freedom, human dignity, social justice, and peace—must be the foundation of a strong, coherent, and united voice.
