The first organizational meetings of the project have begun CAD organizations network against discrimination supported by OXFAM Italy. These initial meetings allowed the partner associations to discuss project activities and the organization of Action 1, which involves the mapping of 15 CADs across the country (South, Center, North).

The planned actions include: a participatory action research to map practices in CAD; the shared drafting of national operational guidelines; a specialized training course for operators; five regional workshops aimed at public stakeholders; and a final national event to disseminate the results and promote the adoption of the guidelines in institutional settings.
The project adopts an intersectional, transfeminist, and trauma-informed approach, directly involving LGBTQIA+ communities in co-constructing activities. It also aims to strengthen alliances between CAD and public services (local health authorities, schools, and public administrations) by implementing shared protocols and participatory governance tools. The integrated communication strategy includes the use of digital channels, traditional media, and scientific dissemination. With over 180 direct beneficiaries and strong potential for replication and transferability, CADenti in Rete aims to consolidate a systemic, inclusive, and sustainable response to gender-based violence against LGBTQIA+ people in Italy.
