Public and critical success for “Cultural-Free Mind”, awareness-raising event for citizens on the occasion of the International Women's Day. Above all the commitment and the will to hundreds of students, both male and female of the Lower and Upper Secondary Schools of the city of Acerra (Na), Active in the square with a thematic flash mob to the tune of "La forza delle donne" by Gigi D'Alessio, as well as through poetry readings and pieces created in their respective schools, they provided the backdrop to the event held on Friday, March 7, in the courtyard of the Castello Dei Conti, thus anticipating by one day the special anniversary that every year celebrates the importance of the fight for women's rights.
In addition to the municipal administration of Acerra, led by the mayor Tito d'Errico and promoter of the initiative, the operators of Arci Mediterraneo Social Enterprise and the Antinoo Arcigay Naples association. During the day, in Piazza Castello, a camper van from Arci Mediterraneo Impresa Sociale was used as a mobile information point to describe the campaigns aimed at listening, support and social orientation promoted within the project “AS.SO – Listening, Support and Guidance”. The services offered by “AS.SO” are: Helpline; Psychological counseling; Legal counseling; Migrant and anti-discrimination counseling; Career guidance; Independent living guidance. All are already active at various offices in the cities of Acerra, Arzano, Caivano, Cardito, Casavatore, Casoria, and Frattamaggiore. Specifically, in Acerra, Arci Mediterraneo and Antinoo Arcigay Napoli are present with anti-discrimination offices, social services, and legal support.
Included in the PNRR investments relating to the Integrated Urban Plans (PUI) for the period 2022-2026, “AS.SO” involves 13 Municipalities in the metropolitan area of the City of Naples: Acerra, Afragola, Arzano, Caivano, Cardito, Casandrino, Casavatore, Casoria, Crispano, Frattamaggiore, Frattaminore, Grumo Nevano, Melito.
