Despite the administration and Mayor Luigi Mennella's support for LGBTQIA+ rights and their repeated support for the Vesuvio Pride, scheduled for September 28th in Torre del Greco, the city's Youth Forum and its president are voting against the Pride, using this as a pretext to politically oppose the incumbent administration and the Mayor.
