The human variable by Elisabetta Stragapede:
The Human Variable explores the concept of humanity and its forms. Borrowing from the children's game "Names, Things, Cities," it brings to life the lost child within each of us, the one who invented worlds and who, as an adult, builds and destroys, commands and succumbs, creates and fossilizes, sets out free and arrives at the goal within invisible cages.
Elisabetta Stragapede's poems hold a lost thread, that of the word that unites us all and projects us beyond our own lifetime, generating a liberating song capable of reconnecting us with the harmony of the universe and, above all, with hope.
Apprenticeship to salvation by Pasquale Vitagliano:
This poetic writing is a form of resistance to the formalisms of every myth of reality. Against those who tend to transform signs into a "factual system," the effort of this poetic language is to bring signs and symbols back into an "essential system." The poetic word seeks to push the connection between signifier and signified to its extreme, to return from sign to meaning, to connect the meaning of words to the very meaning of things. It thus attempts to construct an architecture, a "film," of thought-objects that, through an autonomous, suspended, and at the same time cinematic process of sedimentation, reveals the internal and hidden body of everyday reality. Poetic words, like suspended particles, accumulate as a result of the force field of the text-reality that contains them, bends them, and lets them pass, reuniting them, in a new form, with the most authentic meaning of things.
