On Friday, June 21st, Naples Pride Park took off for its second edition.
This year, too, the historic Palazzo Fuga in Piazza Carlo III will host cultural, political, and artistic events dedicated to inclusion and sharing, giving voice to a society that still demands rights and protections.
The Pride Park was inaugurated by the representatives of the Naples Pride Committee and the former President of the Chamber, Roberto Fico, together with the Councillor for Equal Opportunities of the Municipality of Naples, Emanuela Ferrante. Also at Pride Park was the former Mayor of Naples, Luigi de Magistris, always close to the needs of LGBTQIA+ people
The day June 21or two events dedicated to parenthood took place: the presentation of Families, the new book by Giuseppina La Delfa, co-founder of the Rainbow Families Association and a reading/musical performance created for the occasion by the members of the Association AGEDO from Naples..

Saturday, June 22nd, the conference room at Pride Park, hosted an in-depth talk on Anti-discrimination centers and shelters for LGBTQIA+ people Speakers included Sergio Mazzocca (Anti-Violence and Equal Opportunities Service of the Municipality of Naples), Alessandro Battaglia (President of the Quore Association and coordinator of the ToHousing project), Antonello Sannino (House of Cultures and Reception of LGBTQIA+ People of Naples and Codice Rainbow Caivano), Carlo Cremona (I Ken), and Paolo Russo (Pomigliano Anti-Discrimination Center). Representatives from the Gay Center of Rome and the MIT of Bologna were also present. The Honorable Gilda Sportiello was also deeply involved.
On the same day, Raffaella Anzalone, Spaghetti Casanova, Riccardo Ciccarelli, Enzo Luk Colursi, Luciano Giugliano and Enzo Freschi, from the cast of the successful format Autonomous Dignity of Prostitution created and directed by LUCIANO MELCHIONNA, burst into the Pride Park space with his usual iconoclastic exuberance.
Sunday's day June 23, which opened with the very important initiative of the Prevention Caravan, Aimed at promoting the health and well-being of the transgender population, the event focused on issues related to legality. From 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, an event was held in the conference room, focusing on work and the dramatic phenomenon of usury, starting with the play Cravattari of the playwright and director Fortunato Calvino, a play that this year celebrates thirty years of success. The film based on the play was screened and the topic was explored in depth through a talk featuring Fortunato Calvino himself (playwright and director), Vittorio Ciccarelli (General Director for Campania of the FAI), Rosario D'Angelo (FAI regional representative), Nino Daniele (President of the Amato Lamberti Award), and Renato Lori (Set Designer and teacher at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples), as well as some of the actors from the cast. On Monday, June 24, activities began with the international conference organized by the I Ken association, "ONLY YES MEANS YES. A QUEER FEMINIST AND INTERSECTIONAL VIEW OF CONSENT." This was followed by a round table discussion organized by the Aperitivo Resistente association, dedicated to climate and environmental issues., Peace for the Environment: Climate Crisis, Environmental Justice and Human Rights, moderated by activist Vincenzo Capuano.
The day's cultural events concluded with the screening of four short films made by the British Council of Naples.

Every day, from 6pm to 8pm, it was possible to carry out free and anonymous rapid tests for HIV, Syphilis and Hepatitis C and get information on vaccinations, PrEP and PEP thanks to the Check Point set up for the occasion.
Desks, stands, info points and working groups will be present at Pride Park for the entire duration of the event.
At the end of each day, a musical event took place with the involvement of important DJs from the local scene (and beyond).
