Si terrà Lunedì 14 Aprile 2025, presso la Biblioteca Comunale di Casoria (NA), in via Aldo Moro, 26, la complessiva quarta tavola rotonda sul tema “Discrimination. Understanding and Fighting It.”. L’incontro, rivolto agli studenti delle classi V del Liceo Classico Statale “Gandhi” di Casoria, segue infatti i precedenti tre seminari di sensibilizzazione sullo stesso tema tenutisi presso gli Istituti Scolastici “Don Geremia Piscopo” of Arzano and “G. Siani” from Acerra.
The new event, which is part of the project “Glimmers of contrast”, promoted by the Municipality of Casoria, è volto a sensibilizzare la comunità sui temi della discriminazione e dei diritti civili. Il nuovo seminario è connesso inoltre al progetto “"ACE"”, managed in collaboration with Arci Mediterraneo Social Enterprise And Antinoo Arcigay Naples, with the support of PNRR funds. Among the project's main objectives is to explore and share strategies to combat and reduce the material, social, psychological, and legal hardships that hinder people's development, the protection of civil rights, and gender equality.
L’evento vedrà la partecipazione di esponenti istituzionali, rappresentanti ed esperti delle associazioni coinvolte. Tra i promotori, per “Barlumi di contrasto”: Raffaele Bene, Mayor of Casoria; Gaetano Palumbo, Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Culture; Maria Casolaro, Assessora all’Istruzione; Marianna Morra, Councillor for Social Policies; Roberta Giova, City Councilor; Francesco D'Anna, President of the IV Commission. For the social entities that mainly collaborate in the success of the “AS.SO” project” (AScolto, Supporto, Orientamento) interverranno il Presidente di Arcigay Napoli, Engineer Antonello Sannino; Dr. Raffaele D'Onofrio (Psychologist Project “AS.SO”); Dr. Valeria Smitti, Project coordinator for Arci Mediterraneo.
