[:en]Thursday 23 September from 9.00 pm, under the patronage of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and the Municipality of Modena, on the occasion of the Equality Week 2021 of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and the World Bisexual Pride Day,
Arcigay Modena Women's Group Matthew Shepard hosted the third event of the review #SAMOTILLIUGALI entitled “Bisexuality and Youth Activism: Stereotypes, Biphobia, and Future Prospects.”.
The initiative, organized in collaboration with the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Arcigay Carpi, Arcigay Reggio Emilia “Gioconda”, Gruppo Trans APS, Cosmo Night Modena, and Yellow Modena, represented the third stage of a series of transfeminist informational and recreational events, #SIAMOTUTTIUGUALI, conceived by the Arcigay Modena Women's Group and sponsored by the Modena City Council's Department of Equal Opportunities.
The September 23 event specifically provided a public opportunity for discussion and mutual exchange between the University and LGBT+ associations in Modena, the city and province, Reggio Emilia, and Bologna, in a series of presentations on shared projects and achievements, personal testimonies, studies, and readings on bisexual activism.
Nearly a hundred people from the academic world, associations and civil society took part in the initiative, which saw the involvement, for thanks and institutional interventions, of Professor Tindara Addabbo, Delegate of the Rector for Equal Opportunities, Grazia Baracchi, Councillor for Equal Opportunities of the Municipality of Modena, Angelica Polmonari, responsible for inter-institutional and inter-associative relations of Arcigay Modena “Matthew Shepard” and Elisa Fraulini, head of the Women's Group of Arcigay Modena “Matthew Shepard”.[:]
