[:en]If you are between 18 and 25 years old you can sign up for the Summer School of volunteering in the province of Caserta on the property confiscated from organized crime which will become the LGBT Center of the Mediterranean.
We will be together for five days in Castel Volturno (Caserta) in the indicative period of mid-July and we will do together:
- visits to Castel Volturno and the Domitian coast;
- meetings with local administrators who are committed to recognizing the rights of LGBTI+ people;
- moments of reflection and constructive exchange;
- meetings on eco-mafias, LGBTI+ rights, the fight against bullying and homophobic and transphobic bullying, gender equality, and gender roles in our society;
- writing a diary to be filled in daily as a testimony of the experience lived;
- Cleaning, management, and maintenance of the property confiscated from organized crime called the "Mediterranean LGBT Center," located in Faber Park in Castel Volturno (the largest complex of confiscated properties), and of the common areas, in agreement with the park's residents. For example, the railings of confiscated and abandoned villas will be repainted, trees will be pruned, etc.
Non-formal education techniques will be used for some meetings.
Volunteers will enjoy recreational activities on the beach, in the pool, and at the LGBTI+ lido in Castel Volturno (the first in Campania), as well as watching documentaries, participating in discussions, and taking guided tours.
