In the heart of Kirtipur, Kathmandu, an extraordinary reality has been born. Samarpan Savya Samaj Nepal It is not just an association, it is a family of families. Founded in 2079 BS, Nepalese year, (our 2022) and active for four years, this organization is led by parents of LGBTIQ+ people who have decided to turn their love for their children into a collective mission.
In a context where social stigma, bullying, and discrimination are still daily obstacles, these parents struggle to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive society.
Why is their work important?
Samarpan Savya Samaj Nepal works on the front line to:

Health and support: psychological counseling, hormone therapy, HIV prevention and sexually transmitted infections.

Education and advocacy: Workshops in schools and meetings with local governments, women's groups, and teachers to break down prejudice.

Empowerment: Strengthening family support systems, so that no one ever feels alone within the four walls of their home.
