Bologna, July 22, 2023 – Two marches are scheduled today as part of Onda Pride, the large-scale demonstration in support of LGBTQ+ rights. In Matera, the march will depart at 5:00 PM from the FAL train station on Via Nazionale; in Reggio Calabria, the Pride event will meet at 4:30 PM at the Villa Comunale Umberto I.

"It is overshadowed by the upcoming vote on the Varchi law in the chamber in the coming days, which seeks to make surrogacy, legal in 65 countries worldwide, a universal crime. This action radicalizes criminalization, seeks to create monsters and ghosts, and therefore falls far short of the prerogatives a law enacted by those responsible for governing should have.
