Outing. Ridiculous operation, just gossip.

A page from an operetta: the much-hyped list of homophobic gay politicians was published a full 20 minutes early, and contains 10 names of politicians, no proof, no evidence of their homophobia, no dossier, no verified or verifiable sources, at least for now.

Some of the names are widely discussed, and the presumption of their homosexuality is spreading from mouth to mouth. Some are deeply homophobic, others have never publicly expressed their views on the subject, but voted against a very timid anti-homophobia law.

None of them are politically defensible, of course, but what they are the subject of is banal gossip from anonymous sources.

Here we are beyond the evaluation of the "outing" tool, from which we immediately distanced ourselves in accordance with our culture, our tradition and our principles, here we are faced with a miserable trickle of unfounded gossip that ends up deceiving people's expectations, their anger and their suffering for the lack of rights.

The operation thus concluded has no value but only the ridiculousness of its inconsistency and the cynicism with which it played on the weariness of LGBT people.
