*A dinner show to support Arcigay: tradition, community, and solidarity in the spirit of Christmas*

For us at Arcigay, Christmas is first and foremost a time of community, sharing, and collective responsibility. It is in this spirit that we decided to organize the Dinner + Scostumata Tombolata, an event that combines conviviality, entertainment, and folk tradition, with a clear and concrete goal: to raise funds to support the association and contribute to the maintenance costs of our association spaces, essential spaces of welcome, listening, culture, and rights.

Our spaces are not just physical offices, but bastions of freedom and inclusion, open every day to those seeking support, discussion, and community. Supporting them means ensuring continuity in the social, cultural, and political activities that Arcigay carries out locally, especially in a time when the work of associations is more necessary than ever.

To do this, we chose to celebrate Christmas through one of the most authentic and distinctive expressions of Campanian culture: the indecent bingo game.

*The immodest bingo: a popular, queer, and profoundly Campanian tradition*

The indecent tombola (tombola) has its roots in Neapolitan and Campanian traditions, intertwining the game of tombola with irony, theatricality, and joyful transgression. Historically animated by the femminielli, central figures of Neapolitan popular culture, tombola has always been much more than a simple game: it is a collective ritual, a space of freedom where language becomes allusive, irreverent, liberating, and where non-conformist identities have always found visibility and recognition.

Indeed, for centuries, the femminielli have represented a respected and symbolically powerful presence in Campanian culture: guardians of traditions, bringers of good fortune, and protagonists of ritual moments that blend the sacred and the profane. The indecent tombola is the living legacy of this history, an extraordinary example of how popular culture can be inclusive, ironic, and revolutionary.

Bringing this tradition to an associative context like Arcigay Salerno means valorizing a profoundly queer cultural memory, reaffirming the connection between LGBTQIA+ identity and the local area.

*Lady Fire Hilton: Voice, Body, and Soul of Bingo*

Making our evening special will be Lady Fire Hilton, a drag queen from Salerno with a nearly twenty-year career, a complete artist and an absolute focal point of the local drag scene. Lady Fire Hilton has always been a leading drag performer: first a key figure in the Firework movement, then the undisputed star of DiverCity Salerno events, she has spanned generations, stages, and transformations, bringing with her professionalism, charisma, and a deep understanding of the Campania performance tradition.

His bingo isn't just entertainment, but a true cultural act: it combines comedy, improvisation, folk memory, and stage presence, engaging the audience in a collective experience that makes everyone laugh, sing, reflect, and feel part of something.

Entrusting her with the management of the bingo means choosing quality, history, and authenticity. It means giving space to an artist who perfectly embodies the spirit of the event: pride, irony, community, and resilience.

*A Christmas that looks to the future*

With this dinner show, we want to wish ourselves and others a different kind of Christmas: one of shared tables, hearty laughter, traditions that speak of inclusion, and a concrete commitment to the future of our association.

Participating means having fun, supporting Arcigay Salerno, and helping to maintain vibrant spaces that build rights, relationships, and opportunities every day. Because this is also how community thrives: together, with joy and responsibility.

*We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at the Milito Bistrot Restaurant – Salerno*
