   2. Purpose and Legal Basis of the Processing

The personal data provided will be processed for the following purposes:

  • Management of membership and registration to the association
    Legal basis: Performance of a contract to which the data subject is party (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b GDPR).
  • Sending communications relating to association activities, events and information campaigns
    Legal basis: Consent of the data subject (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter a, GDPR).
  • Fulfillment of legal and regulatory obligations
    Legal basis: Fulfillment of a legal obligation (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter c GDPR)

3. Type of Data Processed

  • Personal and contact details: Name, surname, date and place of birth, gender, citizenship, identity document details, residential and/or home address, telephone number, email address.

4. Processing Methods

Data processing will be carried out using electronic and manual tools, in compliance with the principles of fairness, lawfulness, and transparency, guaranteeing data confidentiality and security.

5. Data Recipients

The data may be communicated to:

  • Associations affiliated with Arcigay for purposes related to their membership.
  • Public bodies or competent authorities, where required by law.

The data will not be disclosed or transferred to third countries outside the European Union.

6. Retention Period

The data will be retained for the time necessary for the purposes for which they are collected and, subsequently, to fulfill legal or regulatory obligations.

7. Rights of the interested party

The interested party has the right to:

Providing your data is optional; however, failure to provide the personal data necessary to identify you will make it impossible to complete your membership and use the association's services.

10. Updates to the Privacy Policy

This policy may be subject to revisions. Please check the Arcigay website periodically for any updates.
