External “in-house” training”

Arcigay has already conducted and continues to conduct training activities on LGBTI issues for external entities, mostly public and private entities and businesses, as part of specific themed projects.

Training in-house

Thanks to the increasing structuring of the internal training second level, we are able to offer training interventions in LGBTI literacy and diversity management, carrying out a needs assessment and structuring pathways ad hoc for various internal figures in public and private entities (companies, associations, private social sectors, etc.).

The training courses in-house – aimed at employees and all levels of management – have the objective of deepening the organisation's knowledge in the LGBTI field for improve communication and management skills both externally (management of communications with the public and with LGBTI clients, users, and members) both on the internal level (diversity management relating to LGBTI staff).

The interventions are:

  • delivered “on site”, at the requesting entity, or via FAD on the platform Moodle;
  • delivered on the basis of a shared calendar identifying the best time for the institution;
  • designed “ad hoc” on the basis of an analysis of training gaps and the teaching tools and methodologies most suited to the organizational situation and nature of the institution;
  • designed in close collaboration with the internal figures indicated by the organization;
  • designed and delivered directly by Arcigay, through expert trainers.

The methodological path followed for training in-house is as follows

  1. Analysis of needs and context
  2. Skills Analysis
  3. Training path design (contents, teaching modules, assessment tools)
  4. Carrying out the training course
  5. Evaluation and follow-up
