Radio Pride arrives in Sanremo: our queer voice at the Festival for the first time.

Our publication, founded in 2022, brings LGBTQIA+ issues directly to the Italian music festival. Daily live broadcasts on social media take place between Isola Sanremo and Officina Cimaglia, a property confiscated from the Camorra.

The Sanremo Festival is never just a song contest. It has always been a reflection of the country, a litmus test of our social evolution and our customs. This year, that reflection will feature a new and crucial space: for the first time, our Radio Pride will officially arrive in Sanremo.

Founded in 2022 with the aim of providing a free, strong, and independent voice to the culture and concerns of LGBTQIA+ people, our publication will be right at the heart of the event. We will be present in the press room and with our own station on Isola Sanremo at the Hotel Nazionale. Our two on-site correspondents will be capturing the moods, tensions, and behind-the-scenes details of the competition., Francesca Saccenti And Diego Di Flora, artistic director of Napoli Pride.

But Radio Pride's commitment will go far beyond daily coverage of the competing songs. Every evening, starting at 7:00 PM, social media will become a bridge between the Ligurian entertainment world and our civic engagement. Live on social media on TikTok, Teresanna Pugliese and Diego Di Flora will take us inside the Sanremo Island, from the lounge of the Hotel Nazionale.

From there they will pass the line to our operational editorial team at’Cimaglia Workshop of Torre del Greco. Not just any place, it is a property confiscated from the Camorra, now returned to the community and managed by Vesuvius PrideAntinoo Arcigay Naples And Humans. A powerful short circuit between Italy's most popular national stage and an everyday space of legality, rights, and social redemption.

Guests and artists will take turns speaking at our microphones, sharing their stories without filters. We'll be there to listen, to ask questions, and to offer a different, rainbow perspective, demonstrating that, thanks in part to this presence, Sanremo will be increasingly queer.

Continue to follow us on our social channels and on www.radiopride.lgbt to experience the Festival with us.
