The attack on the journalists and parliamentarians who were present to guarantee the peaceful nature of the protest carried out by the "disobedients" cannot be considered an acceptable reaction.
Baton charges against male and female MPs are not justifiable in any context, much less in front of defenceless people who are busy mitigating a possible conflictual degeneration of a non-violent protest.
We would especially like to express our solidarity with the Honorable Titti De Simone, president of Arcilesbica, who is a woman of peace and non-violence. Beating her while she was carrying out her duties is a sign of a disturbing degeneration of the very nature of civil and democratic coexistence.
