Arcigay welcomes the birth of Girasole, the new political group officially announced today.
State secularism, the defense of civil rights, and the construction of an intercultural society are key elements of the new group's manifesto. They reflect our vision of society and lead us to hope that we will find a companion in Girasole.
The presence of Davide Barba, national secretary of Arcigay, among the initiative's promoters gives us comfort in the hope that the new entity will boldly commit itself to defending the rights of homosexuals and to building a country more attentive to the constant demands from Europe regarding the defense of civil rights.
