The first Calabrese Gay Village, held during the May Day long weekend, has concluded successfully, with the irresistible and unforgettable panorama of Capo Vaticano, near Tropea, as its backdrop.
The project was born from the inspiring idea of the Garofalo team from Catania, who took care of every detail to make the holiday a perfect event. This idea was deeply felt and embraced by the head of the Calabrian Women's Network, who accomplished this exceptional feat with the support of the Circolo Eos Arcigay Calabria.
150 people (with a strong female presence) from all over Italy enjoyed a mix of sun, sea, and relaxation.
The icing on the cake were the inevitable daily discos and shows (the spice of the holiday) exquisitely of the drag genre that saw drag queens and drag kings alternate on stage, all organized by the Garofalo Team of Catania.
The reception staff was also impeccable and extremely helpful, pampering guests and creating a peaceful atmosphere.
