Cuneo: The Forgotten Extermination of Homosexuals on Display

The Boves Peace School, in collaboration with the Arcigay "Figli della Luna" (Fifths of the Moon) CP of Cuneo, is organizing the exhibition "Homocausto: The Forgotten Extermination of Homosexuals." The exhibition will be open from January 22nd to 27th inclusive. It will be freely accessible every afternoon from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, and in the mornings from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays only.

To inaugurate the Omocausto exhibition in Boves, the Figli della Luna, together with the Scuola di Pace di Boves, are organizing a screening of the documentary “Paragraph 175” on the evening of Friday, January 21st at 9:00 pm, at the Borelli Theater in Boves. During the exhibition, visitors will be able to deepen their knowledge of the history of the Nazi-Fascist persecution of homosexuals and lesbians.

Starting with the historical overview of Nazism and the infamous paragraph 175, the exhibition unfolds, retracing Fascism's approach to homosexuality, up to the discrimination of Communist regimes, and finally concluding with a list of countries that, at the time of going to press, had laws against homosexuality.
