UDINE – (CDM) It doesn't have the imperative tone of an ultimatum, but the substance, however polite the form, isn't far from an ultimatum. Either the register of living wills managed by notaries (as envisaged in the soft motion passed by the city council) will be activated within four months, or it will be a referendum. Better yet, "if the service isn't available by September 12th, the associations and parties supporting this initiative (i.e., the Luca Coscioni Association, the Per Eluana Association, the National Lay Coordination Committee, Sel, PSI, the Methodist Evangelical Church and Uaar, IDV, Arcigay, and Arcilesbica, ed.) will once again appeal to the public through a consultative referendum, demanding that a municipal register of living wills be activated within the timeframe envisaged in the Pirone motion," the first text that the Catholic wing of the Democratic Party chose to amend, passing the buck to the notaries.
Udine. The register of living wills is now open.
