Michele is a thirty-year-old who is fired the same day he learns of the suicide of one of his best friends.
Tasked by his three other friends with organizing the funeral, Michele finds himself in a situation bordering on the paradoxical. He falls in love with the handsome undertaker who tries to pick him up over the phone, and he inherits Francesco's house (his friend who committed suicide), which he must share with Paolo, the friend with whom he has a conflicted relationship; Luca, the most docile of the group; and Donatello, the rebel who prostitutes himself for a living.
As if that weren't enough, he will have to deal with his biological family, who never misses an opportunity to remind him of his blood ties and his role within the family, and with his terrible niece, intrigued and fascinated by her uncle's homosexuality."”
