by ALBERTO GRISERO AOSTA
On Friday, August 19th, in this column, former national president of Arcigay Aurelio Mancuso (a fellow citizen of ours) complained about an innocent joke by the mayor of Aosta ("Unlike others, I like women"). Given that I'm certainly not a voter of Bruno Giordano's party, it seems to me that certain homosexuals (not all, obviously) are guilty of something sinister. It's true that we live in an ignorant society that regularly and foolishly confuses bisexuals with gays (as if Brazilian coffee could be confused with Orzobimbo!), but it's equally true that, in this bipolar Second Republic, we need to regain a sense of proportion: if Mayor Giordano likes decaffeinated coffee, he has every right to say so without offending Orzobimbo (or Brazilian coffee) drinkers.
