[:en]In view of the runoff elections on October 4th and 5th, which will involve the renewal of several municipal administrations in the Aosta Valley, including that of the capital Aosta, we are providing this declaration to be signed and delivered to the polling station, with a request for it to be recorded in the minutes, regarding the division of registers and files by gender or sex, which is discriminatory and harmful towards trans* people, gender fluid people, non-binary people, and all identities that do not recognize themselves within the gender binary.
These are not considered and respected in their self-determination. No person should be forced to reveal their gender identity and biological sex, much less in the exercise of their democratic rights.
