Si è concluso, con l’ultima replica di POCHOS di Benedetto Sicca, presso il Real Albergo dei Poveri di Napoli, il progetto “Le famiglie che costruiamo, le famiglie che difendiamo” voluto della nostra associazione, Antinoo Arcigay Naples, in occasione della rassegna Natale a Napoli, Altri Natali of the Municipality of Naples. Due spettacoli (Pochos e La Resistenza Negata), 6 repliche, oltre 500 persone a teatro, un successo importante, in un luogo, il Reale Albergo dei poveri, che va assolutamente restituito alla città. Un investimento in bello, arte e cultura che la nostra associazione ha portato avanti in questi giorni in collaborazione con il Comune di Napoli, ma anche con teatri, scuole e associazioni vicine alle nostre istanze. Un solco tracciato, una strada intrapresa che intendiamo assolutamente proseguire nei prossimi mesi.

Seven years ago, a young gay Neapolitan posted an invitation to a gay dating chat to play a game of five-a-side football. The first few people signed up, and within a few weeks, the "little game" became a regular occurrence, so much so that the boys decided to form a full-fledged team, calling themselves "Pochos," meaning "street urchins" in Spanish, in honor of the soccer player Lavezzi.
During a presentation evening attended unexpectedly by the press, the young footballers are forced to publicly address their homosexuality. Thus begins the "great night of the Pochos," in which each of them is forced to confront their fears. For many, that night marks the beginning of a journey of liberation.
