Arcigay Viterbo – Peter Boom presents the 2026 edition of its calendar, an artistic project that this year explores the relationship between music and the LGBTQIA+ community. Twelve songs are reinterpreted through twelve photographs, transforming images, bodies, and atmospheres into a visual narrative that intertwines memory, identity, and the collective imagination.
The 2026 calendar is the result of a year-long effort involving volunteers, performers, photographers, graphic designers, and professionals from our community. Each photograph is inspired by a song that marked a milestone in the history of protest, freedom of expression, or queer culture, and is presented as a scene from a shared story.

The presentation will explore the process that led to the calendar's creation, including artistic choices, musical references, and the construction of the photographic scenes. It will also be possible to preview all the shots that make up the 2026 edition.

The work of makeup, hairstyling, and attention to aesthetic details played an essential role in building the characters and atmospheres of the calendar.
Places and collaborations
The creation of the calendar was possible thanks to the collaboration with the San Leonardo Theater and with ARCI Viterbo, who made available the spaces of the stage of the San Leonardo and the White Turn, fundamental for the construction of the scenic environments and for the development of the photographic project.
