Bologna, July 29, 2016 – The penultimate weekend of the season opens’Pride Wave, the large-scale national mobilization for LGBT rights, called by Arcigay along with other associations of the homosexual, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender movement, which will conclude on August 21st in Salento. Meanwhile, two events are scheduled. tomorrow, Saturday, July 30th: eyes on the first time of the Rimini Summer Pride, which will parade tomorrow along the seafront of the Romagna city. The gathering is scheduled for 6:30 pm in Piazzale Kennedy while the arrival at the stage in Piazzale Fellini is scheduled for 9 pm where the final speeches will be held. A nice confirmation is that of the Calabria Pride, which will parade through the streets of Tropea tomorrow: the gathering is scheduled for 4 pm in Piazza Cutura. "It's wonderful to be out in the streets once again demonstrating our pride," comments Gabriele Piazzoni, national secretary of Arcigay, "and especially wonderful to do so on the day after the implementation decree for civil unions came into force. It's a two-fold opportunity: to celebrate, on the one hand, but also to reaffirm the goal of full equality and our determination to achieve it. Our pride is a wave, as evidenced by the many marches we've led this year. And by riding this wave, we're convinced we can go far." The Pride Wave is combined with the #EverybodyPride campaign, which launches the slogan "diversity makes us equal." The campaign was designed by artist and designer Angelo Cruciani, who also created the flashmobs for the Milan Pride and Svegliatitalia marches. The images are by the young Spanish director and photographer Sergi Planas, who has been working in Italy for a year.
