Piacenza approves a motion against homophobia

Last night, the Piacenza City Council approved a motion against homophobia with 23 votes in favor out of 26. The local Arcigay committee considers the approval "significant progress, considering that the first time they didn't even have a quorum for the vote (and perhaps our intervention in the local media played a part in this). Therefore, Piacenza is now among the cities against homophobia, just in time for May 17th.".
