On Monday 30 November at 9pm at the auditorium in Piazza Libertà, Bergamo Laica, Arcigay and Arcilesbica are promoting an evening which will focus on the screening of the film "The Witnesses"".
A film to remind citizens of this forgotten but, sadly, still dramatically active disease. The following day, December 1st, is World AIDS Day.
Institutions must also take responsibility for prevention, without hiding behind taboos or dangerous omissions. The December 30th show will therefore also be an opportunity to ask schools and local authorities to distribute condoms in schools and universities at little or no cost, following the example of French institutions, and create sex education courses that provide young people with the essential information to avoid contagion.
BOLOGNA
Tuesday 1st December, the Cassero, the Arcigay of Bologna, launches the new communication campaign designed to raise public awareness to the only prevention system currently recognized as effective: the condom.
The poster, postcards and leaflet featuring the same image and slogan “Condoms protect!” They will be distributed at interactive stands set up in Piazza Ravegnana in Bologna from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. An installation will be held on this occasion:
the word "AIDS" will be written using several hundred
red condoms.
Passers-by will be invited by volunteers to remove condoms and
AIDS will begin to disappear.
A nice way to raise awareness that using the
Condoms can stop the spread of AIDS among the population.

Posters and leaflets will then be further distributed through the Cassero Salute office (via Don Minzoni 18, Bologna) during the office's activities and during the evenings promoted by the Cassero Gay Lesbian Center starting Wednesday, December 2nd.
“The slogan "The condom protects!“ is inspired by the campaign by the French magazine Tetu: ‘La capote protege du AIDS’” – says Sandro Mattioli, head of the Health Sector at Arcigay Il Cassero, adding: “France offers many good examples, such as that of the Mayor of Paris Bertrand Delanoë, who produced and distributed free packaging with the logo of the City of Paris containing a condom. We would like to involve the new Mayor of Bologna in this campaign and in our future communications projects, as the mayor is the most valuable spokesperson for measuring a city's civic acumen. I therefore take this important opportunity to invite him to convene the city's AIDS associations and finally take stock of the situation together."”

FLORENCE
A red ribbon to say no to discrimination and yes to the fight against AIDS. Throughout December 1st, Palazzo Medici Riccardi, the seat of the Province of Florence, will display the universal symbol of the fight against AIDS on its facade..
On the balcony of the Province there will appear a red ribbon of about five meters of fabric made by John Rodella, councilor of Arcigay Florence “Il Giglio Rosa”.
The request was made in recent days by the Provincial Committee of Arcigay Firenze Il Giglio Rosa and was immediately accepted by the Provincial Administration. "We have decided to embrace this message of awareness on such a dramatically timely issue," said the President of the Province., Andrea Barducci – As institutions, we must do our part to defeat this disease, promoting tolerance and rejecting discrimination against HIV-positive people.”.
LIVORNO
Watching the film Wild Nights, Sunday 29 November, followed by a debate with the medical director of the infectious diseases department of Livorno, in collaboration with P24 and LILA of Livorno.
On December 1st Arcigay Il Faro will be in the square in Livorno with the P24 doctors' camper And LILA All day long, with informational materials and condom distribution, it will be possible to take an HIV test.
MANTUA
On the occasion of World AIDS Day, the Provincial Associations Arcigay "La Salamandra" and Anlaids "Lucia Serragli" promoted an event closely linked to the theme of prevention. The initiative is characterized by a Conference entitled: "You Are Your Future" which will take place on Saturday, December 5th, at 10:00 am, in the Sala degli Stemmi of Palazzo Soardi in Mantua.
The morning will feature distinguished representatives from the scientific and institutional worlds. They will highlight data regarding the disease in the Mantua area, examining the phenomenon in Lombardy, and then focusing on research findings, pointing out the increasingly widespread misinformation, even in our province.
The meeting will be attended by some school groups from the secondary schools of the capital city, as this age group is particularly exposed to the risk of infection from the HIV virus.
Anlaids and Arcigay wanted to join forces by drafting and printing an information booklet, which can guide and encourage the use of the test, which is anonymous and free. The leaflet will be distributed throughout the day, along with a red and white T-shirt reserved for students, featuring the event's logo in the center, featuring the slogan "You Are Your Future.".
Saturday will end at 10pm with an amazing DJ set by the famous rapper Frankie Hi-Nrg Mc, scheduled to take place in the premises made available by the “Arci Tom” cultural club, which on this occasion acts as a partner in the project.
MESSINA
Distribution of the flyer created by the Arcigay Makwan Provincial Committee for World AIDS Day. Over 3,000 informational flyers will be distributed throughout Messina on this date. Information, prevention, and prevention will also be provided with the support of specialized medical personnel.

“DO IT WITH…” Arcigay Naples
Calendar of events for World AIDS Day
For this occasion, Arcigay Naples will be present in various venues and squares with its own stands, where prevention materials and thousands of condoms will be distributed. We chose the locations for our initiatives based on two criteria: the meeting places of the LGBT community and the youth population of the Province of Naples.
We will promote the spread of the culture of condom use and safe sex practices among the LGBT community, distributing materials with explicit and clear messages during evenings reserved for adults.

Padova against AIDS
On the occasion of World HIV Day, Arcigay Tralaltro has launched a series of initiatives aimed at raising public awareness and the LGBTQ community on the HIV problem:
– Saturday 28 November: The Tralaltro Club renews its annual appointment, together with the Territorial Coordination for the Fight against AIDS in Padua, in the main squares of the city. The appointment is in Cathedral Square, from 8.30 am to 4.00 pm with the sale of cyclamens and poinsettias.
– Tuesday 1 December, 8.45 pm: The territorial coordination for the fight against AIDS in Padua, in collaboration with the Silver Symphony Orchestra and the DNA Dance School, is organising a Summertime gospel concert. The evening is presented by Moreno Morello, directly from Striscia la Notizia.
– Tuesday, December 1st, 10:30 p.m.: at the Arcigay club Flexo Club, Via Turazza 19, evening event to raise funds for AIDS research in support of the Infectious Diseases Department of Mestre Hospital. The evening's guest Gennaro Cosmo Spoken who will sing live the hits from her latest album Soubrette with Special Drag Queens Show.

The associations Arcigay Palermo, Ké Palermo, and Articolo 3 of Palermo are committed to providing information and preventing sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) by distributing medical and scientific information materials and condoms during three evenings organized in various venues in Palermo:

ARCA ONLUS/Infectious Diseases Department Arcispedale Santa Maria Nuova RE in collaboration with ARCIGAY GIOCONDA E NAZIONALE and LILA will participate in the evenings of 28/11/09 and 04/12/09 at the ARCI CLUB OUT OF HOURS in Taneto di Gattatico with an information stand on the prevention of HIV and sexually transmitted infectious diseases.

In this autobiographical work the protagonist, confined to a hospital bed, tyrannized by his nurse, by the nostalgic attentions of his old friend, by the young journalist, by the cynicism of the hospital professor, maintains an ironic view of life and
of human relationships.
Everything becomes theater, even the visit of Death, who takes on the guise of a mad, lobotomized opera singer: everything blends into a tragically humorous and crackling game that manages to find the strength of laughter right up to the last disguise.
The evening will be in aid of the volunteer association GASP! AIDS Health and Prevention Group.
