The Arcigay Florence festival debuts on June 21st.

The first event of the second edition of “FLUIDƏ | FLINTA DAY” – The program includes an urban meditative walk, dance, sports, a concert, an open mic, and a DJ set.

FLORENCE, JANUARY 15, 2026 – It begins Sunday, June 21st the first appointment of Pride River 2026, the queer review promoted by Arcigay Firenze Altre Sponde with artistic direction by Chiara Renzi, created within the framework of Florentine Summer 2026. The project, in its second edition, is developed in four events between June and September in the spaces of Ultravox, of the Tinaia Meadow and of the PARK, In the Cascine Park, and proposes a path that intertwines performing arts, participatory practices, music, sport and activation of public spaces.

The title of the opening day is “FLUIDƏ | FLINTA DAY“", an event that focuses on bodies, relationships, visibility, and queer forms of expression. Pride River thus confirms itself as an accessible, inclusive, and intergenerational space, capable of uniting artistic, community, and political dimensions.
The The June 21st program opens at 5pm at Ultravox with POP Lab, movement and dance workshop by Collective.SCENE, conceived as an experience of improvisation, listening to space, and connecting bodies in motion. The meeting point is at Ultravox; for information and reservations: [email protected].

From 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM it takes place Green Volley Revolution, second edition of the mixed 4×4 tournament edited by Revolution ASD, an outdoor sporting event designed to provide an opportunity for meeting, socializing, and enhancing public space. Participation is free while seats last.

To the 18:30 the opening act of the review begins, Community Walk for Peace, urban queer meditative walk by Queer Sangha Florence. The route, from the Agraria square to Pavoniere Passing through the footbridge over the Arno, Piazza dell'Isolotto, Viale dei Bambini and Piazza Paolo Uccello, it crosses District 4 as a practice of public presence, listening and transformation of the urban space.

To the 19:30 come back Collective.SCENE with POP – Popular Outside Performance, an instant performance with Chiara Andreoni, Francesca Mazzoni, Linda Vinattieri and Fiamma Rigoni, in which dance, music and space dialogue in a free and unique way.

To the 20:30 space for the concert of JAMILA, a musical project for voice and guitar that explores narration, desire, and imagination, balancing reality and fantasy.

The evening starts at 10pm with the FLINTA Open Mic, a space open to monologues, poetry, songs, stand-up comedy, slam poetry, theater, performing arts, and circus disciplines, reserved for FLINTA* people – women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans, and agender – with the aim of offering visibility and freedom of expression to subjectivities that are still underrepresented in cultural contexts.

From 11:30 PM to 2:00 AM the program continues with the After, the DJ set “Damage and catastrophe“, a reggaeton selection curated by FLINTA Open Mic*.

Safer Place will also be active throughout the day, an information space with stands from local businesses, a space curated by the CAD Other Shores dedicated to rights and tools against discrimination, and a stand of the Women's House in Florence with materials and awareness-raising activities. Other local associations and independent projects will also be present.

Pride River 2026 it is an event on the billboard of the’FLORENTINE SUMMER 2026 and will then continue with three other events on the calendar: July 18, August 6, and September 4, 2026.

Live voice and guitar: a musical tale suspended between dream, desire, reality, and imagination.

10:00 PM – FLINTA Open Mic
Performance space open to poetry, music, stand-up, slam, theater, and other forms of expression, reserved for FLINTA* members.

11:30 PM - 2:00 AM - Damage and Catastrophe - DJ Set
After-evening with reggaeton DJ set by FLINTA Open Mic*, to end the day in a festive and collective dimension.

All Day Long – Safer Place
An information space with stands representing local organizations, materials on rights and tools against discrimination provided by CAD Altre Sponde, and awareness-raising activities by the Casa delle Donne in Florence.
